Meet Jay Finch — Georgia Tech offensive tackle signee, Class of ‘09
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Jay Finch, of Kennesaw Mountain High, signed with Georgia Tech today to play offensive tackle. Here’s a little bit more about this new Jacket in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to The Flats with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.
Why he likes Tech: “I like the coaches a lot. I see a lot of my high school coaches’ [philosophies] in the players there. So I feel like it will be a nice transition. I definitely want to get a degree, and if I make it to the NFL that would be awesome. I’ll probably go with business management or be an economy major. But I know I’ll have a while to figure that out. I’ll move in by June 10 and get settled in and start taking summer classes.”

Welcome to the Yellow Jacket family, Jay. You were already “in” as your Dad played for the ramblin wreck, but we’re certainly glad you made it official today.
