Meet Emanuel Dieke — Georgia Tech defensive end signee, Class of ‘09
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Emanuel Dieke, of North Clayton High, signed with Georgia Tech today to play defensive end. Here’s a little bit more about this new Jacket in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to The Flats with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.
Why he likes Tech:“I chose Georgia Tech because I felt like the system they’ve started there would be the best fit for me, as far as the defensive schemes. And education-wise, everybody told me how good a Tech degree is. I’m majoring in Biomedical engineering. During my time at Georgia Tech, I want to win an ACC championship and, at least, contend for a national championship. That would be a great thing to leave college with. And I just want to build myself and become a better player so I can enter the NFL draft in a couple of years. It’s a dream of mine to play in the NFL. I’m just focusing on getting playing time this year. I want to be in the mix.”

Welcome to GT. As an old time graduate of both NCHS and GT, I know you’ll have a good time at Tech. Best of luck and may quarterbacks live in fear of you!
