Meet Izaan Cross — Georgia Tech defensive end signee, Class of ‘09

Izaan Cross, of Flowery Branch High, signed with Georgia Tech today to play defensive end. Here’s a little bit more about this new Jacket in the recruiting Class of 2009. Welcome him to The Flats with congratulations below in our “Comments” area.

Why he likes Tech: “I have a great relationship with defensive line coach Giff Smith. I’ve had the chance to hang out with some of the players. I can see myself fitting in with them. It’s only 45 minutes from home and seems like a perfect fit. I believe we have a national championship coming to Atlanta, but definitely an ACC championship. I hope to continue the tradition of a strong defensive line at Georgia Tech.”
