Brooks claims five from Georgia for Kentucky

LaGrange linebacker and AJC Class AAA defensive player of the year Qua Huzzie headlines a class of five players from Georgia who signed letters of intent Wednesday with Kentucky.

“Qua is one of the most explosive linebackers that I have seen in a long time,” Wildcats coach Rich Brooks said in a release from the school on UKathletics.com. “He’s in a long line of LaGrange High School players that I think can come in and help us. I am looking forward to getting him on the practice field and watching him make plays. He certainly has outstanding explosion and speed.”

Huzzie was joined by teammates Tristian Johnson (DE, 6-3, 220) and Demetri Merritt (LB, 6-3, 200) as well as McEachern tight end Terrell Mitchell (6-6, 220) and South Forstyh wide receiver Brian Adams (6-4, 210).
