M.L. King’s Kight commits to Ole Miss

Following some weekend drama, M.L. King running back/defensive back Joel Kight committed to Ole Miss around 7 p.m. on Sunday.

“He actually committed to Ole Miss on Friday and then de-committed later in the day,” M.L. King coach Corey Jarvis said Sunday evening. “They told him to think about it over the weekend.

“But he just called them and said he’s coming to Ole Miss.”

Jarvis said the Rebels intend to play the 5-foot-9, 205-pound Kight on defense.

“I think it will be a good fit for him,” Jarvis said. “They’ll use him the way he should be used, which is at outside linebacker or strong safety.

“He’ll have a successful career there. That’s the kind of kid he is.”

Kight chose Ole Miss over Auburn and Oklahoma State.

He was recruited heavily by Georgia Tech in late December and early January.

Wow, I thought the recruits were going to kill one another to get signed by St. Johnson, but looks like these STUDENT ATHLETES are electing to be STUDENT ATHLETES in the SEC. Man Tech sucks!!!

38-3, Hey good buddy. Need any help getting that unlubricated pineapple out? You look pretty sad having to cling to LSU’s coattail, a “5-loss team”.
