Dunwoody DE Malcolm Mitchell switches to Louisville
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Dunwoody defensive end Malcolm Mitchell saved his best official for last and it resulted in a commitment to Louisville.
“I just liked the way everything went; the school, coaches, players,” said Mitchell while driving back from an official visit to Louisville Sunday afternoon. “I’m very happy.”
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound senior also was happy to hear Lousiville’s plan for him: “They’re going to turn me loose on the end,” said Mitchell, who had 10 sacks and 19 tackles for losses in 2008.
Mitchell had committed to Alabama-Birmingham and also took official visits to Eastern Michigan and Western Kentucky. He had planned to visit West Virginia, and was very interested in that program, but it never got scheduled. “They backed off,” Mitchell said of West Virginia.
Mitchell is not sure if he’ll get playing time right away, but he’s also not too concerned.
“They lost a lot of graduating seniors, so they’re bringing in junior college players,” he said. “But I’m fine with red-shirting if I need to.”
