Union Grove DE Anthony Williams was correct with Georgia Tech prediction

Anthony Williams’ prediction came true on Saturday.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end from Union Grove had said for weeks that he would receive a scholarship offer during Junior Day at Georgia Tech.

“[Georgia Tech] coach [Paul] Johnson confirmed it,” said Williams, who also has offers from Stanford and West Virginia. “I’ll wait on a commitment to any school. But I was very excited about the offer.

“It’s one of my top schools that I would consider committing to.”

Williams’ day on Tech’s campus began at 8:30 a.m.

“We toured the facility, went to the recreation center and talked to a couple of the players,” he said. “And then the coaches answered any questions we had.”

He hopes to attend Junior Day at Central Florida next month. He’s penciled in a visit to Athens in March for Junior Day at Georgia.

Smart move. You clearly don’t want to settle with Yech since you declined their offer. They play rapists and drug dealers. Your family wouldn’t approve of you playing for such a scumbag program and coach.

Wise decision

Reality…you’re right. Tech does play rapists and drug dealers. Every year they play against Athens Correctional.
