Lithia Springs QB Kelton Hill pursued by other schools, but sticking with Georgia State

Lithia Springs QB Kelton Hill visited Alabama State over the weekend and was tempted by the prospect of playing right away, but he’s maintaining his commitment to Georgia State, even though the Panthers won’t play their first game until 2010.

“Coach [Bill Curry] is coming to our school [on Friday], this will be the fourth time he’s come here,” said Hill. “It was nice that they told me I could come in and start, but I like coach Curry and I’m sticking with Georgia State.”

Hill had a visit planned to Appalachian State this weekend, but he said he isn’t going to go.

Wow! How cool! I admire Kelton for sticking to it, and good to see Coach Curry lining up a good team already.

Good for you Kelton,

The fine people from Atlanta are hungry for a clean, solid, honorable college football program to pull for. They are disgusted with not only Tech’s results on the field, but the trash they align themselves with. I doubt State will be playing a rapist next year.
