Collins Hill’s Perkins getting comfortable with Georgia Tech
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Collins Hill running back Charles Perkins will attend Georgia Tech’s Junior Day on Saturday.
Georgia Tech was Perkins’ first offer in the fall and Central Florida and Kentucky have offered since. Vanderbilt could offer soon, the player said. South Carolina, Georgia, Wake Forest and Clemson have expressed interest in the 6-0, 205 pounder.
Perkins has been to Georgia Tech four times and seems to be building a relationship. “I’ve visited Tech the most and they’ve been after me the most,” Perkins said.
Perkins ran for 1,300 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

Charles,
Feel honored that Tech has blessed you with their attention. As you know we’re building the most explosive dynasty the world has ever known with Coach Paul “Bear” Johnson at the helm. We’ll run 3 RB’s per game and each will have over 150 yards each. Our receivers will have over 200 yards a game. The NCAA will have to established the mercy rule for our games since no one will be able to stop us. If you like playing for National Championships then Tech is for you. Oh yeah, don’t forget you can become a world renowned engineer as well.

I like this kid a lot. Impressive runner who could develop into a game changer for Tech’s explosive running attack. Hopefully he’ll come to Tech and become a world class engineer. I think our neighbors from the east think that’s somehow an insult…

GT Fan 1250—-our neighbors from the east don’t know what “world renown” means much less engineer.

I forget, is the rapist that’s going to play next year a CB or QB?

Everyone knows that football players aren’t engineers. They take management classes. Also, TheWorldsAJacketHive, easy on the Kool-Aid.
