Early offers pour in for Henry County WR MarKeith Ambles
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
With offers pouring in from across the country, MarKeith Ambles from Henry County already has established himself as one of the top players in the 2010 class.
The 6-3, 185-pound receiver has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Florida, West Virginia, LSU, Arkansas, Nebraska, Central Florida, Ole Miss and South Carolina. California is hot on the receiver and USC recently expressed interest. Ambles said he expects that they might offer soon, too.
Ambles said he has no preference when it comes to school, conference or region of the country. “I’m just taking everything in,” he said.
Georgia and Georgia Tech have contacted the player through “just regular letters,” but have not offered. Ambles had 53 catches for 993 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.

Don’t even waste your time with offers from chump schools like UF, USC, Bama, LSU, and certainly not Yech. Come play big boy ball in Athens. We were preseason #1 last year.

“preseason #1”—- wow. That simply means you were vastly overrated. Wouldn’t you rather play for the team who was number one at the END of the season?

RealityYech, Don’t embarasses Dawg nation with this preseason #1 crap. In football, just like life, it’s not where you from, it’s where you at! UGA, needs to get right. I grew up in Athens, and this is not acceptable, losing to Tech, beat and embarrassed by ALA, and FLA.When we put together a junkyard DAWG type defense, then we can talk #1, until then this is LSU, and FLA’s conference, and everybody, including DAWG nation must bow down to the kings on the throne.

UGA500, 2003,AND 2007, must haven got past you, or you were incarcerated, but LSwho as you like to put it won natl titles. I’m a dog fan, but give credit where credit is due, and lets make Dawg fans expect more. UGA has had way to much talent to underachieve, and now true Dawg fans want championships. Don’t let us become the ATL Braves of college football.

LSU had a horseshoe up their butt in 07.There is no way that 07 team was worthy of their title.I’ll give the 03 Lsu team credit. That defense they had was one of the best ever.It takes a little luck to win National Championships.Look at UGA in 2002 13-1 but there was 2 undefeated teams that year. Most years whoever wins the SEC goes to championship.UGA in 05 did not.Ask Auburn in 04 about luck. You have to be good and have lady luck on your side too.
