Douglass LB sticking with Alabama over Auburn

Douglass linebacker Jonathan Atchison, who was wavering between Auburn and Alabama, said he remains committed to Alabama.

“I’m just waiting for signing day,” told the AJC on Sunday night.

The 6-foot-3, 226-pound linebacker committed to Auburn over Alabama in August, but Alabama never gave up on him. When Auburn made a coaching change, Atchison changed to Alabama after a meeting with coach Nick Saban.

After committing to Alabama, he said he still planned on taking an official visit to Auburn earlier this month. However, Atchison canceled the recruiting trip, although Auburn coaches still are hoping to change his mind before signing day.

He un-canceled and visited Auburn this weekend. (Jan 24th & 25th) Those close to the situation say $aban isn’t happy. Too bad…

Just saying, you’re dead wrong writer. He visited Auburn just this past weekend and had a great time from what I read.

Why would any good player with a future want to go to auburn if he had a chance to go to Alabama or Georgia? What are his grades like? Surely he’s not THAT stupid! Maybe his auntee lied!

He’s going to Alabama. He came to school in nothing but Alabama attire and told everybody he’s signing with Alabama period.
