Tift County LB switches to Miami, says ACC is “little better”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Tift County linebacker Shayon Green switched his commitment from Purdue to Miami after an official visit to south Florida this weekend, saying the ACC is a “big jump” from the Big 10.
“I think the level of play is a little better in the ACC,” the 6-foot-2, 235-pound senior said. “The Miami coaches treated me as though I was one of them.”
Green said he spoke with Purdue assistant coach [Terrell] Williams about his decision.
“He told me I need to go where I’m happy,” he said. “I’m happy at Miami. I have family down there.”
Green declined an invitation from Georgia Tech to take an official visit earlier this year.
“Not that Georgia Tech offered, but they did want to talk about recruiting him further and set up an official visit,” Tift County coach Jay Wells said earlier. “I think [Tech] was very up front. They told him they didn’t want to waste his time or their time.
Green said he does not have other official visits scheduled.
“I’m done,” he said.

LOL!!! The ACC is “better” than the Little 11? Hmm….I’m not sure about that. I think it’s a toss up for the worst BCS conference. What’s the ACC now in BCS games? 9-2? Pathetic. Thanks to the pitiful ACC and Big Easy tie in. This report is absolutely hilarious!!!

Nothing ironic about my comment, above…If that wasn’t clear enough, let me try again:
RealityYech is an idiot who obviously amuses himself because he can’t please anyone else. Maybe your “punchlines” have gone to your head a few too many times…

Given a choice between West LaFayette Indiana and South Beach, I know where I’d go.

What was ACC’s head to head record with the SEC this year? 6-6? Doesn’t seem that pathetic.

ACC hasn’t won a National Title since the last century, and even those don’t actually count since they belong to the then NEWLY RECRUITED FSU. Tech is behind 22 games to UGA, first win in 8 years and the toolbags now think they have a dynasty, even though they got prisonraped by lowly LSU, LOL!!!

Body Massage… did I miss something? What does ACC head to head with the SEC have to do with Green thinking the ACC is a better conference than the Big Ten?

ACC is nothing. The ACC hasn’t beat the SEC in decades. FSU sux, the “u” is a joke, yech will be lucky to win a game next seeson, we the best they ever was. Why would you want to go play for a bunch of rapist and thugs in the ACC? UGA has a real coach that keeps his boys in line and uses real disciplne to maintain proper order in Athens. You don’t see UGA players being arrested for anything but minor mistermeanors. Yech is a joke.

Since Shayon says he’s “done” I guess we can all believe him. Do you think the Purdue folks believed him when he said he was going to Purdue? Was he lying then or is he lying now?
