Buford’s Sachais commits to Georgetown

Buford defensive end Andrew Sachais committed to Georgetown after visiting the campus.

“The atmostphere was electric,” the 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior said.

Sachais chose the Division I-AA school over Ball State, Yale, Air Force, Wofford and Pennsylvania.

“I had the opportunity to play Division I, but it came down to academics,” he said. “And the D.C. area is amazing. I really fell in love with the place during my visit.”

Sachais was a two-year starter at Buford, finishing with 18 sacks.
