Banneker linebacker Milton Patterson thinks he will commit to South Carolina State this weekend during his official visit.
“I really like the coaches, and they are talking about having me come down and play early,” the 5-foot-11, 230-pound senior said.
Patterson currently has offers from Hampton, Akron, Savannah State, Morgan State and Eastern Carolina.
He had an offer from Mississippi State earlier in the year, but the Bulldogs rescinded his scholarship, telling him they were full at the linebacker position.
“After getting the Mississippi State offer I thought I would have ended up at a bigger program,” he said. “But it didn’t work out. I’m okay with it.”
