Newnan offensive guard Adam Calhoun reaffirmed his commitment to Alabama State during his official visit to the Montgomery, Ala., campus this weekend.
“I had a lot of fun,” the 6-foot-7, 335-pound senior said. “I hung out with the players and coaches and got a feel for what the stadium and school look like.”
Calhoun committed to Alabama State in November. He had offers from Savannah State and Western Carolina.
Calhoun said he believes he can start his freshman year.
“If I come in with the right mindset and work hard I should be able to be on the line,” he said.
Calhoun anticipates sliding over to tackle when he competes at the next level.

Oh c’mon…we want to know if the real “rumors” are true. You know…the ones about his wife and one of the players on his team…
