Virginia Tech among suitors for North Atlanta QB
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

North Atlanta quarterback Jamal Londry-Jackson has seven offers on the table from Division I-AA schools, including his favorite, Tennessee State.
He thinks he can compete on the Division I-A level, but only one school - Virginia Tech - had expressed serious interest in the 6-foot-2, 210-pounder. That is until late last week when Toledo jumped into the mix.
“They came by [North Atlanta] for a visit,” Londry-Jackson said. “[An assistant coach] sat with me and watched my highlight tape. They liked what they saw, so we’ll see.”
Londry-Jackson, who is scheduled to visit Morgan State this weekend, Tennessee State on Jan. 23 and Virginia Tech on Jan. 30, said he may cancel one of those and replace it with a visit to Toledo. Right now, Tennessee State is still at the top of his list, but that could change.
“I’ll make my decision on signing day,” Londry-Jackson said.

The Toledo Rockets are a good solid football program. They play a good out of conference schedule. In the last 3 seasons they have played, Michigan (and won), Fresno St, Purdue, Kansas (twice), Iowa St (twice) and Pitt. Good luck Jamal, wherever you decide to play. Except when you play Bowling Green, my alma mater.
