Carver DB Darren Myles packs bags for Ohio State
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Carver-Atlanta safety Darren Myles Jr. will make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound senior said.
Myles, one of the state’s top uncommitted prospects, appears to be worn down from the recruiting process. Myles drove to Tuscaloosa last weekend with his father and coach, Darren Myles Sr. during an official visit to Alabama.
“These visits are all kind of the same,” he said.
Myles has already taken visits to LSU and Purdue, his father’s alma mater. It is rumored to be an all-out battle between LSU and Alabama for Myles, but he said he has no favorites.
Myles said he will wait until signing day to make a decision but told the AJC that he is no longer considering Georgia Tech.
“I don’t want to be that close to home,” he said earlier. “I want to see what other schools have to offer.”
Last month, Myles said he removed UGA from his list of finalists because he hadn’t heard from the Bulldogs for weeks.

ADVISE to Darren Myles:
Congratulations on making a decision - and finding a school that you feel is the best fit for you!
Focus on your academics - NOBODY can take an education away for you - and the better your degree, the more doors will open for you in your lifetime.
Remember, you are blessed to have natural athletic ability - but that will only get you so far. The best players take the attitude that they need to continually improve and are never, never completely satisfied with the different phases of the game:
Game knowledge (tactical and strategic)
Individual skill
physical conditioning
-Mental preparation
BEST OF LUCK!!!! Ohio State is fortunate - and so are you!
