Kentucky chases after Georgia Southern recruit Darius Eubanks
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Kentucky is making a last-minute run at Thomson safety Daruis Eubanks, who is committed to Georgia Southern.
Will the Wildcats offer? They haven’t yet, and Eubanks is unlikely to know until he makes an official visit to Kentucky later this month.
Eubanks committed to Georgia Southern, but he explained to the Eagles it was on the condition he didn’t get any major-college offers. Even if Kentucky offers, it is not a sure thing that Eubanks would switch commitments.

Wait one minute here, he does not believe UK is a major Div I school? If I were UK I would not be to fast in offering this player a chance at SEC football.

Paddy,
Instead of trying to imply that the kid is dumb I think you need to step up your reading and comprehension skills. I won’t even point it out to you because it is clear as day and that would make me an enabler. Go back and re-read slowly and enunciate every word.

Joker Phillips wants this kid but can’t offer without the old man’s OK. Eubanks is a player that other schools are missing the boat on.

Eubanks is 1 of those kids who didnt get much recognition by college coaches because he only played a year and a half at defensive back. He is just as good as the players i c goin to major SEC and ACC schools. I hear kentucky has offered but they want him to grayshirt, which means he will not enroll in school until next year. i hear he may stick to G.S because he says that if a school really wants him they could give him a full ride now. Eubanks would like to enroll this fall. he is a hell of an athlete but is one of those boys who realize that not everyone makes it to da NFL and wants to get a college education. If u a football player it doesnt matter what conference or division u come from. if ur a football player da NFL scouts will find out bout u…honestly, i think dat if eubanks wuz to go to G.S and work hard u would c another G.S player in da nfl. and paddy ur totally wrong about eubanks. people like u jus disgust me. May God Bless Eubanks and good luck at G.S if dats where u decide 2 go.

eubanks runs a 4.5 and is good enough to play in the SEC. Kentucky has offered. He is 6 2, but should red shirt year one at a big school. He’d be ready to start at GA Southern as a freshman.
