Two South Georgia linemen headed to Memphis
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Camden County’s Ryan Attaway became the second South Georgia linemen to recently commit to the University of Memphis. The 6-foot-6, 300-pound Attaway will join Ricky Hart of neighboring Charlton County at Memphis.
“[Attaway] only played tight end for us, so I think he’s being looked as an offensive tackle for Memphis,” said Camden coach Jeff Herron, whose Class AAAAA championship team may eventually yield more than a dozen college signees.

Why would these kids from South Georgia want to go to Memphis to play football? Georgia Southern makes more sense academically and athletically even though it is not FBS (old 1-A) but is FCS (old 1-AA).
Who’s advising these guys?

Maybe Memphis liked these guys and Ga Southern did not. Just thinking…
