Lassiter TE confirms Auburn, cancels Alabama and Tennessee

The recruiting drama is over with Lassiter’s Philip Lutzenkirchen, who is back where he started with a commitment to Auburn.
Lutzenkirchen sat down with new Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn last weekend. It was an unofficial visit just to watch film, but apparently Lutzenkirchen saw enough to reaffirm his commitment to the Tigers.
He indicated via text message Monday night that he will remain with Auburn and cancel plans for official visits to Tennessee and Alabama.

War Eagle Philip (mispelled above?)! Welcome to the AU family -you will have a great college career that will best prepare you for life; on in the NFL or outside football, academically.
And, by the way, Auburn is really fun place to live.

BIG MISTAKE!! Auburn is in for some tough years ahead. However their new head coach should be able to stop his 10-game losing streak against one of the no-conference teams. In 2 years you’ll look back and say “what was I thinking?”
Also remember that Tuberville and his staff all were claiming to be apart of the “Auburn Family” up to the day they were fired. Tell me how is that a family??

haha gotta love them bama fans… go cry to your savior saban… why do they spend more time worried about auburn folding up than they do about what is happening in tuscaloosa. Auburn will be fine. I think its that they are worried about the competition with Ole Miss looming as a potential SEC West powerhouse, and Auburn attempting to create a recruting monster, with a master mind offensive coordinator and a genious defensive head coach… This isn’t Iowa state or the sub-par staff CGC had there. oh and dont ever forget LSU as a west contender and sleeper Arkansas with their suitcase coach. So to all the bammers out there… welcome to the toughest Division in any conference! and to all new auburn recruits welcome and hit em hard!
