Stanford offers Union Grove junior DE Williams
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Union Grove junior Anthony Williams landed his first scholarship offer last week after Stanford invited the 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end to play football for the Cardinal.
“I’m very excited,” Williams said. “The recruiter was very easy to talk to. It’s pretty far from home, but still an option. I wouldn’t mind playing for them.”
He continues to be recruited by Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech and West Virginia.
Williams plans to attend junior day at Tech later this month. His second offer will likely come from the Jackets.
“I’m going [to Tech] on the 31st and am hoping for a written offer,” he said. “I want to say they have given me a verbal, but I want to be safe to say that until after I get the written offer.”
