Oklahoma State aware of UGA overtures toward Walton FB David Paulsen

Oklahoma State is aware that Georgia is flirting with one of its top commitments, Walton fullback David Paulsen.

OSU coach Mike Gundy made an in-home visit with Paulsen in Marietta on Wednesday. Georgia wasn’t the main topic of conversation, but it was brought up.

“[Gundy] knows all about Georgia, and that I’m going to visit Georgia,” Paulsen said. “[Gundy] didn’t seem to be too concerned about it. I’m committed to Oklahoma State, and he is counting on it staying that way.”

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Paulsen is a lifelong Georgia fan, but didn’t have an offer last month when he visited Oklahoma State and later committed. Georgia coach Mark Richt made an in-home visit with Paulsen on Monday and offered a “grayshirt” scholarship. Under those conditions, Paulsen would wait until next January to enroll at UGA, and count toward the following year’s scholarship total.

Paulsen said he will make a recruiting trip to Georgia on Jan. 23 to learn more.

I read the ealier article about UGA offering him a Gray shirt. I wonder if Stafford and Moreno’s departure was factored in this decision. If not, one should definitely be available for him. Best of luck either way.

Wow those rumors spread fast. The one about the Tim Tebow “sex tape” has changed my perception of him. Gives “Superman” a whole new meaning, or updates the term to that of the”urban dictionary” meaning. Who would have thunk it!

Tebow sextape? Dude, do you really think the guy would be that stupid? It pains me to sing his praises, but I’m pretty sure he’s about as authentic as you get. Even if he really is a fraud and jacka$$ in person, no way would he be dumb enough to videotape himself doing something like that and let it get out. Come on now….
