Warner Robins RB headed to Alabama-Birmingham
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Warner Robins running back Rashad Wynes says his commitment to Alabama-Birmingham is rock solid, and he’ll fortify that decision with an official visit to Birmingham this weekend.
He’s just showing the same respect UAB has shown him since it began recruiting the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder more than a year ago. This weekend’s official visit is the only one he plans to take.
“They’ve been with me from the start,” he said.
Wynes said the Blazers plan to use him at running back, and possibly some at slot. He played receiver this year - after starting at running back as a junior - as Warner Robins changed its offensive scheme from the wing to the spread. He scored eight touchdowns as a receiver. He also played some running back.
“I like the way they’re going to use me,” he said. “I feel I can do a lot of things from different positions.”
