Georgia Tech commit Burnett delays enrollment
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Westside-Macon’s Julian Burnett will now likely show up for his junior-senior prom this spring.
His original plans were to enroll at Georgia Tech for the winter semester, which began today.
But the 5-foot-10, 225-pound linebacker suffered a change of heart and chose to delay his enrollment.
“I don’t know. It was just a last minute decision,” Burnett said Monday evening. “I’m staying in school [at Westside-Macon] for my last semester.”
But Burnett made it clear that he is still a member of Tech’s 2009 recruiting class.
“Oh, of course,” Burnett said, when asked if he intends to sign with the Jackets on Feb. 4.
North Clayton’s Emanuel Dieke was the lone 2009 recruit that began classes at Tech earlier today.

Wonder how it is going with two of the states top recruits and 5A All State Players, Toney Williams and Mitchell-Thornton? They are suppose to be sharing a dorm room at Tennessee. Both are early enrollees.

Go to the prom Julian. Enjoy it. It’s a pleasure that a lot of folks don’t get. Football will be waiting on you.
And take it easy on the Robot in practice! LOL

He’ll never enroll at Tech. A short drive down 75 and he can go to his prom. He’s waffling.

I love how people with no clue opine. Seldom right, but never in doubt.

Hey GT76, he never said a thing about his prom being a reason he’s staying. All he said was that it was a last minute decision. The AJC made up the garbage about the prom.

NVJackets, if you know the story tell us. It does no good to claim you know the story if you don’t know the story.
Opine on that.

If He is gay he should shout be proud of himself. I went to my prom with my boyfriend at Sandy Springs. Then we went to ATL to party…Paul Johnson is going to win with straight players and gay one!
Go Jackets!
Excelsior!

He’ll probably start out as a tight end but wind up being a wide receiver after the upperclassmen have their way. And Rainbow, I think you’ve got a little mayo left on your chin. Wait, that ain’t mayo.
