Charlton DL Ricky Hart on the wild side of recruiting
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Charlton County’s Ricky Hart offers yet another example of how crazy recruiting can be. Three months ago, he was set to sign with Maryland as an offensive guard. Now he is bound for Memphis as a defensive tackle.
“This is it for me,” said Hart. “I really like Memphis because I want to play defense. Plus, they have one or two guys coming back on their defensive line, and they play eight guys every game there so I should be able to play some as a freshman.”
Hart also feels his improving academic standing will make him eligible to play next fall. That uncertainty was why Maryland backed off from their scholarship offer in October.
