S.C. DL Geathers has UGA among four finalists
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Defensive lineman Kwame Geathers of Carvers Bay, S.C., announced that UGA is one of his four finalists, according to GoGamecocks.
The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Geathers said he will make official visits to South Carolina, UGA, South Florida and North Carolina in January.
What are UGA’s chances of signing Geathers? UGA recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner is a close friend of his family, and older brother Robert Geathers played at UGA.
However, another one of his brothers, Clifton Geathers, committed to UGA but later signed with South Carolina, where he is a current member of the Gamecocks.

Don’t make the same stupid mistake your idiot brother Cliff made — back out after failing to qualify academically, and then was placed by UGA in a Prep School. Be a DAWG, or you’ll regret it for the rest of your life! No I know some qveer is going to comment on my comment, because they have nothing to say about the article, but HATERS … kiss my asre! The Dawgs are going to win the National Championship, and I think this young man deserves to be on that team!

As Cliff said when he decommitted from UGA, “The Dawgs are going down.” Come help round out USC’s top 5 class. Be with your brother who loves South Carolina.

Bill, who exactly are the dawgs going down to? Certainly not the Gamecocks in 2008, or 3 of the last 4 years. How many SECC do you guys have? Oh yea, none! Enjoy the 11 o’clock (am) bowl game in Tampa. Did TV pick that game up? Our down year gives us more respect across the country then any year by USc.

Case and point about there being too many bowl games….when the lamecocks get invited to play in one, especially one on New Years Day! What a joke.

One’s in the Pro’s, one trying to get there, another ones on his way to college. Must be something good in this family.Just remember young man, these names,ROBERT GEATHERS,RICHARD SEYMOUR,MARCUS STROUD,CHARLES GRANT,CHARLES JOHNSON,KEDRIC GOLDSTON, all playing on sundays, just to name a few;ask yourself where do you wanna be on your sundays. John Abraham is the exception out of USC, as you can see we are the rule!!!!

Hey Bill,
Using the word “book” while talking about Gamecock football players is a riot!

I have a hunch this kid is gonna be a Dawg. He sees how well his oldest bro did between the Hedges, so I can’t see him being fooled into going to SC. We’ll just have to wait and see for ourselves!!!

Georgia has quality and not quantity and the rankings are an accumulated total so it makes for good reason that more committs will produce more numbers. We don’t have as many scholarships to offer this year. We have a great class and will close with some outstanding additions that will only make our ranking go higher! Go Dawgs!
