Norcoss RB teased about his Southern accent during Maryland trip

For the record, Norcross tailback D.J. Adams said he loved everything about his official visit to Maryland. It confirmed that he made the correct decision to commit to the Terrapins over around a dozen offers, including Florida and Notre Dame.

However, Adams did laugh when discussing how he was teased about his Southern accent during the recruiting trip.

“Up north, they’ve kind of got weird lingo,” Adams said. “And just the little things we say down here, they were cracking on me. … we’ll get past that part.”

Yankees being yankees….

Norcross isn’t even Southern, it’s just that they don’t speak with that retarded Mid-Atlantic accent there.

The Northeast is a blight.

I’ve been a UGA fan now for 28 years, UGA has great recruiting classes most every year..However, something goes amiss between players and coaches, UGA simply underachieves, our coaches does not get the players (for most part) to perform to their capabilities. You all know this! We give up way too many points on defense and don’t get our offensive players into situations where they can show their skills, again, for the most part. We need to change somethings, be more aggressive on defense, create havoc in the backfield, get after the QB, play on the other side of the line……Replace Mike Bobo as O.C. enough said.
