Dutchtown’s Stewart focuses on books

Dutchtown’s Joe Stewart says his attention is going to be on school work the rest of the semester and not where he’ll make any official visits.
The 6-foot, 165-pound senior said in an e-mail, “I don’t have anything planned right now I’m just working on winning state in track and on my grades, ‘cause grades are my No. 1 thing right now.”
He also said Florida A&M has shown strong interest in the past week, but no offer has been made.
Stewart, a receiver/kick returner with 4.4 speed in the 40, has been offered by Missouri, where his father Joe, Sr., was a record-setting receiver, and Texas Tech, Stanford, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, Central Florida and Hawaii.
