Where will the recruiting trail carry Georgia Tech coaches on Monday?

Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson and offensive line coach Giff Smith will travel to Jefferson County High, located between Louisville and Wrens, on Monday to visit Chris Crenshaw, a member of the Jackets’ current recruiting class.

Crenshaw confirmed by a text message on Sunday that Johnson and Smith are scheduled to visit him.

The two coaches are also expected to spend time chatting with Crenshaw’s cousin, junior cornerback Barry Bostic.

It will be Smith’s second trip to Jefferson County in the past five days.

“I got to talk to coach Smith on Wednesday when he came by the school to see Chris,” said Bostic, who received a scholarship offer from the Jackets following their victory over Florida State this season.

“Then coach Smith went over to Chris’ house.”

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Bostic is also being heavily recruited by Florida. He recently received an invitation to attend the Gators’ junior day in January.
