One of nation’s top RBs for 2010 has UGA among top three

Marcus Lattimore of Duncan, S.C., has 20 offers and is a candidate to be the nation’s No. 1 tailback for 2010.

At one time or another, Lattimore has said either Clemson, South Carolina or Georgia have been his leader. However, Lattimore told The State (S.C.) Newspaper that while he is still considering those three schools, he’s going to consider all colleges.

“I’m going to open all my options back up as I continue to get more offers,” Lattimore told The State. “I just want everyone to know they have a fair shot at me. I just don’t want to be one college. In the summer I’m probably going to have a top five and then make my decision at the Army All American Game.”

I’d like to see a top offensive lineman with Georgia in the top 3.

“I want to make my decision at the Army All American Game.” Translation: I want to make my decision whenever there’s cameras on me because getting lots of attention is more important than finding the right school.

chris- whats wrong with that? he is a talented kid and should enjoy every minute of this time of his life. just because you are a worthless bum doesnt mean you have to knock this kid. i hope he comes to UGA although we dont need any backs for a while.

Man we need BEEF up front on both lines. We have a zillion backs at Georgia. It wouldnt suprise me if Caleb transfers. Who is in charge of recruiting lineman?

I saw this kid vs North Gwinnett the first game of this season.. He’s a BEAST! Rodney Hampton kind of back..

Regardless of where he goes he will do well & I wish him well wherever he attends school at the next level!!

Hello Fellow Dawg Fans, What’s up with Caleb King? He hasn’t played but one play in the past 3 games. Is it grades? Lack of blocking skills? Attitude? Or just lack of talent ie: Jasper Sanks? I hope UGA can get all these players thay have targeted; however, just give me solid 2 and 3 star recruits that are coachable and have good character. Peace.
