Centennial’s Euclid Cummings was a popular player with college coaches today.
He received visits from Georgia offensive line coach Stacy Searels, Georgia Tech receivers coach Buzz Preston and Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin.
The new Volunteers coach made a favorable impression on the 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end.
“I like [Kiffin],” Cummings said. “He seemed to be an honest person. He kept it real with me.”
In recent weeks, Cummings has said he’s considering scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
So is Cummings now interested in Georgia?
“I would be if they offer me,” he said.

SWAT the Jackets what is gtu? If you wan to talk smack and not call us GA TECH then at least call us GIT. Calling Georgia Institute of Technology gtu shows you are some of the unEducated masses of the dawg nation that never went to college in the first place. THANKS you make our argument so much easier.

GTU is how Stephon Marbury referred to your beloved institution when he played basketball there (which is all he did - by his own admission, he sure didn’t go to class).

I like this kid- great name and he was honest about not being offered yet by UGA. Like most top schools, Georgia has been turned down by so many kids who were never offered in the first place.

On October 21, 2001, the SBA, acting in response to the President’s declarations due to the events of 9/11, evoked the “Interim Final Rule.” This made EIDL, or Economic Injury Disaster Loans, available directly from the SBA to troubled businesses.
“Under section 123.601 of the new subpart, SBA EIDL assistance will be available to such business if they can show that they suffered substantial economic injury as a direct result of the destruction of the World Trade Center..”
This action took a little over 35 days to complete. For all practical purposes, the latest “Destruction” took place Sept 15th. Where is the help? Washington must feel there is a reason for concern. They came up with a “Bailout” Plan in the matter of a few weeks for the Big Guys on Wall Street. When is that going to help anyone? Not one red dime of that money has helped out small business. Now they are looking at helping the Auto Industry. When will it be our turn? When will Washington turn its efforts toward small business? For many it is already too late. Some are hanging on, but will some be out of savings and they too will go away.
I urge you to contact your Congressman and Senator. Tell them to support the efforts of Senator Kerry of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Go to www.sbc.senate.gov and see what they are doing. Go also to www.gpoaccess.gov search for Vol. 66 No 204, pages 53329-53332. Get informed on how the SBA should be acting under this Economic Disaster. The SBA does not even need Congress to do this, they have the power to help us now.

Congrats on your award and congrats on NOT looking at Georgia. Today’s SEC championship showed how talented players come to Georgia and fail. Its amazing to see the horses that Alabama and Florida put on the field and know that Georgia’s recruits were just as highly regarded then fizzle here only to star in the NFL. Our coaches have a knack for getting the least out of our players. Oh, well they are good at getting arrested. So Branden, good choice and good luck where ever you end up. Tonight showed me that it looks like Georgia has reached the pinnacle, get ready for the return of Ray Goof like football!!!!!!! Yeah, I’m a disgruntled Georgia fan/graduate and I’m fed up with this team. I don’t care what Evans/Richt do in the off season because it won’t make a damn bit of difference.
