Peach County’s Taylor already has a plan for defending Bama’s Jones

Peach County defensive back Reggie Taylor has never wavered from his commitment to Auburn, even though rumors of Tommy Tuberville’s exit continue to pop up.
In fact, Taylor watched last weekend’s Iron Bowl from the mindset of a player and coach, not a fan of Auburn.
“I do that with all of [Auburn’s] games,” Taylor said. “I always look at how I would have done this or that, if I was on the field. I think I can help them on defense, bring them a spark.”
For example, Taylor already has his strategy for defending Alabama freshman phenom Julio Jones, who has established himself as one of the SEC’s top receivers. The 6-4, 210 pound Jones has 46 catches this season for 723 yards and four touchdowns.
“I would try to push him around all day long,” Taylor said. “I would try to make it hard on him, be physical with him the whole game.”
Taylor said he will set up an official visit to Auburn in January.

Talk is cheap—-Julio Jones is proven and do not take anything from him. You have not proven yourself and I hope you do—but remember this——All I ask you to consider is this: What # do you wear right now—-imagine being on the field at Bryant-Denny Stadiume in front of 90,000 each Saturday wearing a number for the University of Alabama—a number that has been identified with so many great players who have worn it before…that is a great tradition…of being part of the best team atmosphere in all of college football! Your helmet tells it all—-not flashy, no logo, just your number—in sparkling, traditional crimson and white numerals. IT just doesn’t get ANY better than that. Alabama prides itself in having a group of selfless teammates who want to achieve national championship goals—-if that is what you want—then Tuscaloosa is the place and the red helmet is the identity you will want to be part of. Trust your instincts—go to Auburn if that is where your heart is—but never smash someone else who is going to have a great career. The Tide Nation will never stand by and let you or anyone throw smack—Julio Jones or any of the players have full support from the TIDE NATION—-if you really want to be part of something—come on over.
Roll——nothing else needs to be said.
