How It Went: Georgia Tech impresses Valdosta OL Foster
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Valdosta offensive lineman Antonio Foster was among the large contingent of recruits in attendance during Georgia Tech’s victory over Miami Thursday evening.
The five-hour drive from Valdosta proved worthwhile for Foster, who committed to the Jackets on Nov. 4.
“The visit went great. It felt like I was at home,” Foster said. “I really liked the atmosphere. I saw the city and how it was lit up. It was just a good environment.”
Foster met with several members of Tech’s coaching staff.
“I just felt like I was wanted there and felt that they were really glad that I committed to them,” he said.
During his visit, Foster struck up a conversation with another Tech commit, Stephen Hill of Miller Grove.
“We talked about how we’re both going to play in the all star game in Myrtle Beach,” said Foster, who will return to Tech on Dec. 13 for an official visit.

I can’t wait to see Foster and Hill on the field. Foster fits in perfectly with our offense and Hill will add yet another weapon. The future is BRIGHT (just like the city lights)! Go Jackets!!!

Any Tech fan should be proud to have Tony Foster joining their team. He is not only an excellent football player, but also a young man of very high character. His parents are wonderful people. Very dedicated Christians.
I no longer live in Valdosta and haven’t seen him in a few years, but I coached him and his younger brother, Devontae, in baseball for three seasons.
It is nice to see good things happen for someone who lives their life the right way. Congratulations Tony! I’m proud of you.
Coach Joe.
