UGA assistants headed to Florida to check on recruits

Georgia is taking advantage of its week off by sending its coaching staff all over the Southeast to meet and observe prospects.

UGA offensive coordinator Mike Bobo and running backs coach Tony Ball are scheduled to visit Plant High of Tampa, Fla. They will meet with quarterback Aaron Murray, who has already committed to UGA, and tight end Orson Charles, who has agreed to take an official visit to UGA in January.

Murray has been recovering from a broken left leg, and told the AJC that is ahead of schedule with his rehabilitation. Murray is holding out hopes he can return to action in the state playoffs, if Plant advances far enough.

Spiderman, El dawg, SC dawg, and dawgfan

This is about recruiting. NOT about DC, signing day isnt till February, why dont you DECOMMIT from the dawgs, go put on some orange or yellow, and SUPPORT them

We need supportive fans, not bandwagoners like you.

Safe travels to all the coaches, get well soon Aaron

Talking about a fairweathered fan! Just a year ago, Fabris was being talked about as a tremendous coach because of the work with ends such as Pollack, Johnson, Moses, Howard, etc. and special teams with players like Coutu, Bennett, Kelso, etc. One disappointing season and it’s time to fire the guy? I’m shaking my head over that one.

Go Dawgs!!

Spiderman and el dawg…if you two are such experts, why arn’t you coaching???

Don’t answer that one…….we all ready know!

If you run a coach off everytime the teams performance slips you woudl be changing coaches every other year. Plus, you would have lost some of the best coaches in the country. (Nick Saban lost some games he should have won last year if my memory is correct!)

Has it occurred to you two that just maybe, we don’t have the talent on defense that everyone thinks we do? I am not talking about one or two players but the group of 11! Sure we have several great ones but I suspect we have several “not so great ones” also.

Give it a break…be happy with another 10 wins and look forward to 2009. We have a lot to be proud of!!!

Here is something to think for all you disgruntled Dawg fans. Georgia is 9-2… get it, not 7-4… get it? Next, as of last week UGA has 18 players with season ending injuries. We had 3 at this time last year. Wake up and smell the java… this coaching staff is doing an outstanding job given the amount of injuries and youth.
