Columbia RB Nathaniel Anthony pulls double duty on Florida trip

Driving five hours and then watching one college game is exhausting. But taking in two games the same day is almost unheard of.

But that’s what Columbia tailback Nathaniel Anthony did last Saturday. He took an official visit to Florida A&M and watched the Rattlers in the afternoon, then traveled a few miles down the road in Tallahassee to watch Florida State’s evening contest.

“It was a long day, but it was a good day,” Anthony said. “I love football. I could watch it all weekend without getting tired of it.”

The 5-10, 185-pound Anthony has offers from Georgia State and Navy and said he got calls recently from Ohio State, Vanderbilt and FSU.
