Carver-Columbus OL Chris Hubbard schedules another visit

Carver-Columbus offensive guard Chris Hubbard is going to Alabama-Birmingham on an official visit on Dec. 5.

“Coach [Corey] Barlow invited me out there,” said the 6-foot-4, 250-pound Hubbard, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150.

Hubbard has more than a dozen offers, including UCLA, Mississippi State and Duke. He made an official visit to UCLA last month.

“I’m still getting letters, but I’m kind of surprised there haven’t been more offers,” he said. “I guess it’s all kind of settling down right now.”

Hubbard said he expects to make his decision on signing day.
