No. 1 Alabama secures official visit with Auburn recruit Atchison

Douglass linebacker Jonathan Atchison, who committed to Auburn, has scheduled an official visit to archrival Alabama.

Atchison told the AJC he will make a a recruiting trip to No. 1 Alabama on Jan. 17. His visit to Auburn is scheduled for Jan. 10. Atchinson is also hearing from Florida, which has shown strong interest but has not offered.

The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Atchison, who is a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150, will make an unofficial visit to Alabama for the Auburn game on Nov. 29.

Atchison narrowly committed to Auburn over Alabama, which made the Crimson Tide intensify their efforts to lure him. Atchison said he remains committed to Auburn, but is simply “hearing out other schools.”

This kid must be a good football player if Bama and the gators are trying to steal him from the tigers. Good luck in the future and pick a school that will help you in the long run that will make you a better person!! ROLL TIDE!!
