Mill Creek OL Jordan Johnson ‘close’ to committing

Mill Creek’s Jordan Johnson is leaning heavily toward Middle Tennessee, the lineman said Sunday.

Tennessee-Chattanooga and South Alabama recently offered, but Johnson said he doesn’t have much interest in those schools.

“I am pretty close to giving a verbal (commitment) to Middle Tennessee,” he said.

Johnson took an unofficial visit to the school last month and loved the Murfeesboro campus and the coaches. The 6-5, 262-pound Johnson will set up his official visit sometime after he commits, he said.
