How It Went: Carver-Columbus DB returns from The Swamp

Carver-Columbus defensive back Bill Alexander returned from Gainesville, Fla., after watching the Gators defeat South Carolina.

“‘The Swamp’ was alive,” said Alexander. “We talked to some of the players, we sat in the south end zone and we talked to the recruiting coach [John Hevesy].”

Alexander said Hevesy asked how they were doing and how their season was going. Florida has not offered Alexander.

“It was a lot of fun being down there,” he said. “I don’t think anyone can stop them. They have too many weapons.”
