Norcross RB D.J. Adams plans out trips to Maryland

Norcross tailback D.J. Adams won’t take his official visit to Maryland until next month, but he plans to go up for the Terrapins’ conference clash with Florida State on Nov. 22.
Adams, who has been to College Park twice, is looking forward to the game between the conference front-runners, both of which have two losses. He’ll travel with his parents, sister and a cousin. The night game will be televised by ESPN.
“The campus is going to be live and I’m ready to see how that looks and to participate in that,” said Adams, who has more than 1,200 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
Adams will return to Maryland on Dec. 12 for his official visit. Maryland likes to hold their official visits after the season, Adams said, so that recruits can hang out with the players and “get the campus experience.”
