Tennessee WR Marlon Brown taking his time with college decision

When will UGA know if wide receiver Marlon Brown of Memphis will sign with the Bulldogs?

“National signing day,” Brown said. “I’m going to make my college decision on that day.”

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound Brown is Georgia’s No. 1 target at wide receiver. He made an official visit for UGA’s game against Alabama, and liked it so much that he plans on returning to Athens for an unofficial visit to a basketball game or practice within the next few weeks. Brown wants to play both football and basketball in college.

Brown has taken recruiting trips to Georgia and Ohio State, and has scheduled official visits to LSU for Jan. 10, Florida on Jan. 24, and Tennessee on Jan. 31.

Dont forget about TK. What a great line up that would be. Throw in Troupe who has GREAT hands and you have one hell of a WR Corp.

Don’t forget Moore….he’s really starting to get it going, now that he’s gotten over the injury bug. With Wooten coming in and hopefully Brown, we could have a legit receiving corp. If we can fix our red-zone problems, we can have a great offense for years to come.

Thanks Michael.

And to Marlon Brown -

Son, you need to come be a Georgia Bulldawg!

You know you want to be Aaron Murray’s #1 receiver… Imagine yourself in Tiger Stadium, Dawgs down by 4 late in the fourth, the crowd roaring… 3rd & long from LSU’s 35 …. Murray calls for the snap, you run a post to the middle of the field… Murray guns the ball in, you make the safety miss…. TOUCHDOWN BULLLLLLDAWGS!!!!!

Imagine the feeling…..

Imagine the feeling of being in the best stadium in the country…..107,000 people on their feet. Checkerboard endzones……..The opposing team’s quarterback is at the line…..He stands up and tries to yell to his receivers……They can’t hear him……….Flag……Delay of game………The crowd is now deafening……..Next play…………QB under center…………Again….Can’t hear anything……The quaterback turns around and looks to the referee for relief….The referee points to the line of scrimmage…..In other words………Deal with it….The snap……….QB sacked for 14 yard loss………. Imagine that……….Go Vols…….The real deal, even in a bad year……….Although UGA is great.
