How It Went: Blessed Trinity’s Crisafi impressed with Middle Tennessee State University

Blessed Trinity guard Matt Crisafi and his father spent Saturday at Middle Tennessee State University and watched as the Blue Raiders hosted homecoming opponent Louisiana-Monroe.
“It was a lot of fun,” said Crisafi, an AJC’s The Georgia 150 choice. “We drove up [Saturday] morning, took a walk around campus, ate lunch, watched highlight film of the Maryland game and talked to all of the coaches.”
Crisafi has scholarship offers from Delaware, MTSU, Samford and Tulane.
“The visit to Middle Tennessee State kind of exceeded my expectations,” Crisafi said. “I didn’t realize football was that big there. I got to the game and realized how many people are crazy about MTSU football. It impressed me a lot.
“I’m pretty interested in that program. I’ll probably take an official visit there in December.”
