Perry’s WR Trey Smith considering others than East Carolina

Perry’s Trey Smith, an AJC The Georgia 150 wide receiver, has set up two official visits in December. Smith will visit Western Michigan the weekend of December 5, and Ball State the weekend of December 12.

“I set up two official visits (but) I’m not leaning anywhere yet,” he said.

Along with Western Michigan and Ball State, the 6-5, 205-pound Smith also has offers from East Carolina, Marshall, Akron and Kent State. Smith tried to commit to East Carolina earlier this year, but was told to wait because so many prospects were trying to pick the Pirates after wins over West Virginia and Virginia Tech.
