McIntosh County Academy OL Thorpe gets first big offer
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

From a college football fan perspective, McIntosh County Academy is known as the school that produced Allen Bailey two years ago. Bailey now plays at the University of Miami but recruiters have returned this season taking a look at two Buccaneers.
Leading the way is offensive tackle Genard Thorpe. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Thorpe has been offered a scholarship by Arkansas State, while Troy and Middle Tennessee State are heavily interested.
Meanwhile, linebacker Sequan Stanley (5-9, 195) is hearing fromm Furman and Wofford.
“Both of them are good students,” said MCA coach Robby Robinson. “[Thorpe] is a young man with a lot of potential. [Stanley] is just a tremendous football player. He is a sideline-to-sideline guy who never quits.”
