Perry OL taking family with him to South Carolina game

Perry lineman and South Carolina commitment Johnnie Farms is going to take his family to the Gamecocks game against Arkansas this weekend.

“I want them to get a feel for the Gamecocks,” said the 6-foot-3, 310-pound Farms, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150.

This will be the second South Carolina game Farms has attended. He went to the Georgia-South Carolina game Sept. 13 before committing to the Gamecocks on Sept. 29.

Rivals.com ranks Farms as the eighth best offensive guard in the nation. He had nearly 20 scholarship offers, including Auburn, Florida and Georgia.
