Alpharetta DB Vince Williams garnering offers
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Categories
Alpharetta cornerback Vince Williams, who last week was offered a scholarship by Western Kentucky, received offers from Central Michigan and Delaware.
Williams said he’ll commit only to a school he visits. He’s scheduled to make official visits to Western Kentucky on Nov. 15, Ball State on Dec. 13, then Akron. He’s considering going up to Central Michigan either Nov. 22 or in late December.
Williams had sent Central Michigan a tape of him as a junior, and the school had seen him once, then asked for tape of him as a senior. In contrast, he just recently began dialog with Delaware.
“You’re always excited to get new offers, but it also complicates things,” said Williams, who has 40 tackles. “I’m looking forward to heading up to schools to see which ones are a good fit.
“You don’t want to let anybody down,” he added, “but when it comes down to it, you can only pick one.”
