UGA commit Chase Vasser to confirm college choice on Dec. 16
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Chestatee linebacker Chase Vasser committed to Georgia last January and remains loyal to the Bulldogs. But he said he will “confirm” his college choice in a Dec. 16 ceremony at his school.
To avoid confusion, we decided it would be best for Vasser to explain.
“I’m still committed to Georgia, and Georgia is the only official visit I’m going to take,” he said. “However, just like with most other players who have committed to colleges, I’m still hearing from other schools.
“I’m giving these other schools the opportunity to say everything they have to say to me, to go all-out, because once it gets to Dec. 16, my mind will be made up for good.”
Vasser has been offered in the past month by Florida, South Carolina and Wake Forest, and Kentucky (where Vasser’s older brother signed) has not given up.
Vasser picked Dec. 17 because it’s his last full day of classes before graduating early.

If it was me there is no place other than UGA I would want to play or I would want my son to play. I would want a Coach who is a man of his word and who doesn't play games or say things just to win me over. That man is Coach Richt.By hotrod

An offer isn’t the same as a guarantee… and as far as Tech.. lol.
By all means Tech is awesome, if you don’t mind: being around a bunch of nerds, getting a degree that will help get a job but will NOT prepare you for KEEPING it, getting a chance to hang around some of the UGLIEST women (and I use “women” very, very liberally here), etc… Sorry, my hands were hurting from the typing - but you get the idea.
Best wishes in making your choice.
GO DAWGS!!

If Vasser isn’t sure, he ought to go play for Urban “Teachin’ my boys how to cheat like pros” Meyer. We’ve got plenty of great players dying for an offer from UGA.

The only reason tech will have a better recruiting class is they have 25+ scholarships to offer and UGA has like 13-15. Dang I though tech fans were smart enough to figure that out! But money cant buy everything!

Saying Tech has a better recruiting class is like saying your 25 shiny new pennies are better than my fifteen mint twenty dollar gold coins. With Tennessee, Clempson and Auburn in meltdown mode UGA is certainly wishing it had more scholarships, though.
