Road Trip: Heritage TE Jones to visit Music City
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Heritage tight end Justin Jones plans to spend the upcoming weekend in Nashville, Tenn. on an unofficial visit to Vanderbilt. The trip will include an opportunity to watch the Commodores host No. 4 Florida Saturday evening.
“Vanderbilt is a prestigious school with great academics and a good football team,” said Jones, who is hopeful the Commodores will offer him this weekend. “Coach [Bobby] Johnson has definitely turned that program around.
“We’ll see how they fare against one of the best teams in the nation.”
Jones, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150, recently de-committed from Kentucky. He is currently considering offers from Akron, East Carolina, South Carolina and UAB. He’s also receiving some interest from Alabama.
“If Vanderbilt offers, I’m not sure what I’d do,” Jones said. “They definitely have a great team, but I want to take a look at the campus.
“I’ve seen the campuses at South Carolina and Kentucky. So it all just sort of depends.”
