Georgia Tech and Kentucky offer Gainesville’s Jones

Gainesville junior receiver Tailer Jones received scholarship offers from Georgia Tech and Kentucky earlier today.

“Georgia Tech is one of the top schools in the NCAA academically,” Jones said in a text message. “Even though they run the triple option, they still produce great receivers. They’re at the top of the ACC right now and are holding their own.”

Jones was offered by South Carolina Wednesday evening. He also holds offers from Arkansas, N.C. State, Ole Miss and West Virginia.

One of his senior teammates, lineman Josh Jackson, was offered by Ole Miss this morning.
