Michigan making late push for Henry County WR Patterson

Following recent trips to watch games at Georgia, Florida, Clemson and Georgia Tech, Stanford commit Jamal Patterson of Henry County said one of the nation’s most storied football programs has turned up the recruiting heat during the past week.

“Michigan has been recruiting me extremely hard lately,” Patterson said this evening. “But Stanford is still number one.”

Patterson, a member of the AJC’s The Georgia 150, has offers from nearly every major college football program in the nation, with the exception of Georgia.

He plans to take his official visit to Stanford in January.
